
Meniere’s has totally changed me in every aspect possible. Took away my confidence, stability, balance, hearing, self esteem, safety, altered my personality, and I feel like a total burden to everyone.
The vertigo can be so crippling and provoking that you are consumed by the fear of what will happen. I feel completely alone deserted many times.
People can’t even begin to fathom what it is like to have a major attack. It’s an illness you definitely have to learn to survive on your own because often times all you can depend on is yourself.
It’s an isolating disease that has little or no mercy on it’s victims.
